i found the "Broadway 2006: The Year in Pictures" slideshow pretty interesting. i hadn't really been paying attention to any of the shows of 2006, and i saw quite a few that caught my attention.
in response to lisa's comment, it may sound funny at first, but its actually one of the embarassing things that can happen to somebody. i was at a RBF show this summer, and one of the bands playing before them, MxPx, were having to play while a large portion of the pit was screaming "reel big fish." a member from one of the other opening bands actually came onto the stage and threatened specific individuals who were shouting rude comments at the band. it really made you feel sorry for the band, since it seemed like the whole crowd thought they sucked.
